I think it's rather pretty. It's just enough glitter and the perfect coloring too. I kind of wish my franken was a tad more turquoise...I'll have to work on that I guess:)

Mixing It Up, Again!
Hello, friends:)
Have you ever thought of the most beautiful color and then gone crazy trying to find it? I feel like I have done exactly that. I've been on the hunt for the palest teal leaning blue. I've searched everywhere for this pretty shade, but everything is either too bright, grey, dark, teal, or blue. So I thought I'd try my hand at mixing up my fantastical color.
Unfortunately I have not been able to create it. My mixing led to a color that was perfect in the bottle but looked a lot like Zoya Kristen but a tad greener in the end. The polish was still beautiful, just not what I had imagined. Here is my nail polish concoction:
After much more searching, I have decided that Cult Nails Manipulative *might* be what I'm looking for, although in my head my mystery color is a paler version of Manipulative. I guess I'll have to keep dreaming;)
What mysterious colors have you imagined but been unable to find?

Mixing It Up!
Yes, I have done it. One day while eyeing up an old polish, I decided to play with it rather than to throw it away. I just went to town mixing a few different colors & polishes together. It was fun. Now I'm seeing why so many of you have a fascination with frankening.
I started with an old discontinued champagne colored polish with coppery flecks. It sounds pretty, and it was at one point, until it got too gloopy to apply correctly (and yes "gloopy" is a word...at least in my vocabulary!). A few newer polishes added, some renewing drops, & it turned into this:
I did this out of my curiosity and creativity. It was great. I had fun. I can't say that I see myself continuing to do this much, if ever again. But it was a great way to experiment with an otherwise discarded polish that was headed for the trash.
Hope your week is going well!
