I have been fortunate enough to try another brand of nail wraps/appliques/shields called Jamberry. 

In comparison to the other brands of nail wraps/appliques/shields I have tried, these applied quite differently. Jamberry Nail Shields require you to apply a stiff applique by softening it and molding it to your nails through the use of a hair dryer! Here are the full instructions.

The Verdict:

I love the variety of nail shields offered by Jamberry. If they don't have what you want, you can design your own! How awesome is that?!?! I'm thinking it would be an awesome idea for a bachelorette party;) Now, I must tell you that I received ONE nail shield to review so half of it went on the right hand and the other half went on the left hand. The size of the shield dictated where I put the shield. It actually did not fit any of my nails perfectly, the middle finger was the closest. Also, after completing all of the directions meticulously, I could not get the nail shields to apply perfectly flat against my nails (see below photo). There was some rippling and no matter how hard I tried to fix it, it was there to stay. Perhaps it was user error. These were however the longest lasting nail shields I have used to date, they lasted longer than my nail polish (which was quite impressive considering one polish was a texture polish)! And removal was a cinch! I would totally try these again:)

NCLA Nail Wraps in Wax Print

I was contacted by NailPolishCanada.com to test and review two sets of NCLA Nail Wraps. I was super excited to try them and honored that NailPolishCanada.com sought me out! I am so excited that I have the other set to show to you today. 

 

This geometric, almost tribal design, is inspired by wax print cloth. Each nail wrap is a different pattern and color. They are so much fun and scream summer to me!

The Verdict:

Everyone is pressed for time in this day and age. Who has time for killer nail art? What if I'm just not that creative/talented to paint designs on my nails? NCLA Nail Wraps change this dilemma  I adore these! They save time, last a while, and look fabulous while saving you time and aggravation:) I love them as accent nails (as you can see) and cannot wait to order new, exciting designs to play with! I recommend these to anyone and everyone (especially the novice), so go pick some out today!

NCLA Nail Wraps in It Don't Matter (& a brief tutorial)

I was contacted by NailPolishCanada.com to test and review NCLA Nail Wraps. I was so excited to try out another brand of nail wraps/polish strips. Everyone is pressed for time in this day and age and NCLA Nail Wraps are a saving grace. When you want to have killer nail art but either don't have the time or skill to execute it, NCLA Nail Wraps come to the rescue.

Here is a brief tutorial on how to apply the NCLA Nail Wraps:
Each kit comes with 2 sheets of 22 wraps (good for 3-4 applications), a NCLA nail file, easy-to-follow directions. 

This kit is called It Don't Matter and features a variety of black and white geometric designs. The images below match the instructions described below.

1. Apply a base coat to clean nails.
2. Choose the size and design that you would like to wear. Peel the chosen strip off of the backing.
3. Line the curved side up with your cuticle. Stretch the strip and smooth out the bubbles.
4. File off the excess in a downward motion using the included file.
5. Apply a top coat to seal and protect your nail wrap.

The result...

The Verdict:
These are a time saver. They are quite durable. These are beautiful without the painstaking work of creating these designs as nail art. NCLA Nail Wraps can be worn as a full manicure or as accent nails. The wraps come in a variety of sizes. I have VERY small fingers so it made it somewhat difficult to wear this as a full mani. I don't know if there are strips small enough for my pinkies. That being said, these can be cut so they can be the appropriate size.  I would definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone. The latest Influenster Vox Box was the "Love" Vox Box.  This luxurious box contained a Stash Herbal Tea Sampler, a sample of Truvia, a Ghiradelli milk chocolate bar, a Gillette Venus & Olay razor, and a box of Kiss Nail Dress.  This was my favorite box yet!

Kiss Nail Dress was easy to use and apply.  The 28 strips peel easily off of their backing to apply to clean nails.  The variety of strip sizes is good.  I ended up cutting off the excess strip with manicure scissors and then filed the tips to make them smooth.  These also peeled off easily when I was finished wearing them.  I cannot wait to use these for date nights, special occasions, on my toes, and even as an accent nail.  Since there is no mess involved, these can be used anywhere, including in the car as a last minute manicure:)
