Autumn Nail Art Challenge--Pink

I think I'm on a floral kick, which is odd considering it's autumn! That being said I went for a more subdued, neutral palette much more appropriate for fall than brights and neons. And here is your manicure for...
Pink
This entire manicure hovers in the nude, pink, purple realm and is not distinctly one or the other. I think that is what I like so much about it.
Polishes used: Zoya Harley, Rue, Brigitte, Harlow, Veruschka

A Tell Tale Manicure

It's no secret that Halloween is not my favorite holiday. I have never enjoyed being scared and I have always been on the squeamish side. However, I have always loved the creepy, insanity and darkness of some classic literature. I have shown this in some of my past Halloween inspired manicures including Jabberwocky and The Raven. This time I bring you another Edgar Allan Poe classic, The Tell Tale Heart. It's a short story about a character who is rather insane and paranoid after committing a crime. If you have never read it, here it is in its glory.
I included EKG lines to show the beating heart, blood spatter and smear, the words "like the sound a watch makes," and a heart of course. I apologize for the smearing that occurred when I added my topcoat :-(
Polishes used: Zoya Jacqueline, Livingston, Pepper, Claire, Harley, and Dot

Here are some other Halloween inspired manicures (& enter your own while you're at it leave a comment and I will vote for you!):

Valentine's Manicure--Take 5

An unlikely pairing...

Valentine's Manicure #5
A tribal Valentine's Day manicure! An unconventional Valentine's manicure that is subtle, fun, and uber wearable:)  This one is definitely my favorite of the bunch.  I love how fun this is without being overboard.  What will be on your tips tomorrow for Valentine's Day?

Nail polishes used to create this manicure: Zoya Harley, Purity, and Isla

Here is my tribal tutorial if you're interested in giving it your own shot!  Tribal is basically done with angular lines and is completely and utterly random in this manicure.

Zoya nail polish is available for purchase through their website and most retail for $8.00 each.  Sign up for a Zoya account today and receive points that can be redeemed for promotions and discounts.

Zoya Harley

Many of you know that one of my favorite nail polish brands is Zoya.  I love their formula and color selection.  This is very important if you're picky about certain colors like I am.  I was having trouble finding a grey nail polish that I LOVED on me.  Sure, there were some that I liked, but I struggled to find one I loved. That was until Zoya Harley entered my life...
Zoya describes Harley as a "Light concrete gray base with subtle flecks of silver, gold and copper shimmer."

The Verdict:

Formula and pigmentation were incredible.  I could almost get away with one coat.  This polish has just enough warmth (a touch of gold & copper) to make it flattering and quite lovely.  I love this grey and cannot wait to wear it over & over again.
